Korean PM Holds a Banquet at His Home with Prime Minister

SEOUL: The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Park Byeong-Seung, hosted a banquet for Prime Minister Hun Sen on the evening of February 12 at his residence in Seoul, South Korea.

At the banquet held at the residence of the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Park Byeong-Seung congratulated the Prime Minister on receiving the Sun Hak Peace Prize, which reflects the values, great sacrifices, fresh flesh, and fresh blood of Prime Minister in the cause of peace and development of Cambodia.

During the banquet, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and Prime Minister discussed the strengthening of relations and cooperation in all fields between Cambodia and Korea. He also thanked the Korean National Assembly for supporting the projects, proposed by the President of the Republic of Korea, to support and ratify the Cambodia-Korea Free Trade Agreement.

Prime Minister and the President of the Korean Parliament also discussed many other issues that will bring benefits to both countries and peoples of Cambodia and the Republic of Korea, especially mutual assistance, people-to-people exchanges, including other issues that will serve the needs of the country and the people of both countries.

Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia traveled to Seoul, the Republic of Korea on February 10, 2022, to co-chair the 2022 World Peace Summit. During the four-day visit, Prime Minister also met with the top leaders of the Republic of Korea, including the President of the Republic of Korea and the President of the National Assembly of the country, as well as some famous people.
